Our morning kayak with Jen was phenomenal. Jen is the perfect blend of instructor, guide, iPhone photographer, and naturalist. She knew exactly how to set the pace for our abilities and was just as excited to view the life underwater as we were, seeing it for the first time. We spent this morning with Jennifer kayaking around Kodiak harbor. We had the best weather which really added to the experience. We saw, sea lions, otters, harbor seals, bald eagles, tons of birds and even a pair of deer. Our friends were absolute beginners and did great. Highly suggest this tour!

Jennifer took us on an adventure around Sea islands off of Chiniak and we saw harbor seals in their natural habitat, who were just as surprised to see us as we were them! We beached our kayaks on an island and checked out the tide pools, she pointed out the sea anemone's and we searched for Kodiak beach treasures. The views of Kodiak from the water were breathtaking.

Jennifer was our fantastic kayak guide on what turned out to be a special day on the water! She is very knowledgeable about kayaking and wildlife and we felt like we were in professional, capable hands. We paddled around Chiniak Bay and observed harbor seals and hundreds of puffins. This was my first time kayaking in the ocean. Jennifer gave very good paddling instructions. When I followed them I really felt like I could have paddled for much longer than the 3 hours we were gone. I had no muscle soreness the following day. I definitely recommend including this in your Kodiak experience and would like to do it again on a future trip.

We have taken a kayak trip with Jennifer 2 times this summer. As a biologist, a great personality and kayak instructor, we got more information and insights than you might expect.
