My favorite thing we did in Kodiak!! The boats were smooth and easy to handle, the guide was fun & knowledgeable, and the views were spectacular! I did 2 tours with this company and each trip was wonderfully different. The first trip was a wet, rainy day and the guide took us around all the islands (we got some lovely pictures). The second tour was bright & sunny, so we hit the open waters and paddled to Puffin Island! Kayaking around Kodiak is a must while you are there and this company was very knowledgeable. Thank you!!!!

We had so much fun on the kayak tours! We went out twice because we had so much fun the first time. During our first trip, we paddled around the small islands. Jens is an awesome guide and he was so fun to talk to. He is really knowledgeable about Kodiak and gave us a great hiking recommendation. Our second trip, we paddled to Puffin Island with Jens and saw so many puffins and gulls. We saw a few otters and Jens waited patiently as we tried to film the otters being cute. 10/10

It was a perfect paddle! Of course we got really lucky and the weather was wonderful. But Maya was a great host and guide. The orientation and launch was flawless. Everything was easy and it felt like an outing with old friends.The scenery is stunning. Easily a highlight of our trip to Kodiak. Highly recommend!

Most frequent questions and answers
Highly recommended! It's helpful to have tours set up at least 48 hours in advance. However- we also accept last minute bookings on any tour where we still have space! We have a limited inventory of kayaks, so try to secure your adventure opportunity well in advance, but if you find yourself in town and want to get out- sign up and join us! Those who try to time perfect weather shouldn’t be surprised when on that sunny day, others have beaten them to taking out our kayaks or renting the SUPs, leaving you stuck on dry land.
Yes, let us help plan your perfect outing on the water. Book any of our tours as a private group. We can reach fringes of pristine, rocky coastlines all along the outlying Kodiak area, and can tailor private trips based on your interests, weather, and time frame. Our pricing is based on the size of your group, either 1-4 paddlers, or 5-8 paddlers. This can be an excellent option if you’d rather not take your chances with your fellow paddling crew. Especially recommended for those paddlers who want to cover more ground, paddle faster, and not be slowed down by novice kayakers.
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with one week or more notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a 50% refund for cancellations 3-6 days prior to the tour. No refund can be given for cancellations made at 48 hours or less. Should we have to cancel our scheduled tour due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, all customers will receive a full refund or credit. If we are able to relocate the tour due to weather, all booked parties will be contacted to ensure the change is acceptable.
